Story
Hiya, my name is Ally Nicklin, I'm from Stoke-on-Trent and as the Mother of an autistic Son, I feel as though not enough is done to raise awareness and understanding of one of the UK's most prevalent disabilities.
I will be living on my own inside a glass box, in the foyer of Tesco Meir Park for 50 hours, with nothing more than a tent and a sleeping bag!
Hopefully by doing this, I'll grab lots of attention and it will give me the opportunity for me to share my story and for other Mums and Dads to do the same.
It's all happening at Tesco Meir Park, on Lysander Road, Stoke-on-Trent, just off the A50. I will enter the glass box at 2pm on Thursday 2nd October and not leave until 4pm Saturday 4th October. Wish me luck!
Please come and see me and the team from Caudwell Children, as we raise awareness and funds for the great work the charity does in supporting children and families with the condition.
Of course if you can't come to see me in person, please donate whatever you can here - thank you!!!
Ally x
