We provide high quality care to improve lives of terminally ill adults

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

In August 2017 our friend Nicola Cutts mum Pam died. She had received exceptional medical care from Rotherham Hospice that not only extended her life but did so in a sensitive and caring way that meant that she was able to enjoy many beautiful family times during her final few months.

Nicola and Pam’s niece Lauren want to demonstrate how much this meant to the family and have committed to raising £20,000 by 2020 to support the amazing work of this wonderful Hospice.

We, her friends, are helping her by taking on this 7 day mountain trek. We will cover a distance of 110km, often over difficult terrain and up to a height of 3000 metres above sea level. We will carry our own supplies and will sleep in basic mountain refuges.

100% of all donations that we receive goes directly to the Hospice as all the trekkers are self funding the trek and all equipment.

Please help us to help Nicola and Lauren to achieve their goal in supporting the Hospice, it makes such a crucial difference to the quality of life for people near the end of life.

Thank you
