Brake is a national road safety charity that cares for road victims and campaigns for safer roads for all. Brake's National Road Victim Service is a specialist support service to help families cope with the shock, turmoil and devastation that road crashes cause families across the UK every day.

Story

On the 24 August I will be taking part in The National Three Peaks Challenge – Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in 24 hours! This involves about 37km of walking, just over 3000m of ascent and descent and 460 miles of driving in between.  5pm – 5pm, catching naps in between the mountains.

I will be doing this with Melanie Smith, a good friend of mine, and her friend Claire Hazleton. On the 3 August 2012 Melanie’s partner, Graham Epps, was tragically killed cycling home from work. This challenge was something that Graham always talked of doing.

We are raising money for Brake, a national charity that aims to prevent deaths on the road as well as support those affected by them. Any donation you can give will be greatly appreciated and will be a nice incentive for us to get to the top of each mountain!
