On the 27th of December 2009 I decided  that I woul like to be part of a team attempting do the 3 peaks challenge. For those of you not sure what exactly this is, in brief it is hiking up the three highest peaks in Great Britain in 24 hours. Now, with just under two months to go I am stepping up my training regime (!) Am a proud owner of some "Hiking Boots" and am ready to get on it- the training that is.

The walk is taking place at the end of May so I have plenty of time to get three peaks fit. The charity I have chosen is for retired greyhounds so they can live a lovely life till the very end.
