I am Maisie and I am 8 years old. I would like to support the charity ‘Emily’s Star’ because it helped my Auntie and baby cousin when she was born 7 weeks early. Emily’s star provides support for families with premature babies and gives a special box with items in to help during the first few days and weeks in hospital. In my cousin’s special box there was a premature vest, a wash bag, milestone cards, two knitted bonding squares, a handmade knitted hat and cardigan and the for the mummy there was a wash kit and travel water bottle. 

I hope I can raise money so that ‘Emily’s Star’ can help other families just like it helped our family when my cousin was born.
