Story

TEAM WHITECROFT

Whitecroft have been supporting Reubens for the last two
year unfortunately during 2020 due to Covid all charities struggled and we too were unable to fundraise.

Our friend and colleague Elaine Dunlop had always planned to climb
Snowdon in September 2020 to raise funds on which would have been her late Granddaughter Jodie’s 18th Birthday but once again Covid scuppered those plans.  Jodie died at the age of 14 months she and the family received support from Stepping Stones based in Swansea.  Elaine wanted to raise funds for Reuben’s to support families locally to enable them to receive the support her family did.  When she started to tell her colleagues of her plans to complete this climb as soon as restrictions allow in 2021, we all jumped at the chance to join her.  In support of Reuben’s Retreat to help them continue the fabulous work they do and in memory Jodie.
