I have been running for a number of years and last year eventually ran my first full marathon - the Cape Town Marathon. I lived and worked in London for a few years and when the opportunity of an entry for the London Marathon came up, I jumped at it.  I am running for the Ron Pickering Memorial fund who assist young, promising athletes to achieve their goals - most who would not be able to do so otherwise.
