In loving memory of Dorothy Barnes

Mum tended not to send flowers to funerals. She preferred to send a plant to the family, as it would go on growing and be a constant reminder of the loved one lost, or to make a donation to charity to help others.
Kindness personified, she hated to see suffering of any kind, particularly to children or those who had fought for their country.
Mum always said if she won the lottery, she would give a big donation to 'Help the Heros'. Having lost two much loved brothers, Bill and Jack, in World War II the British Armed Forces were always close to Mum's heart.
We know she would be delighted if funds were raised in her memory to help the brave men and women that have been injured in service of their country.
