I'm taking part in the Sam Houghton Mountain Bike Challenge to fund raise for the NW Air Ambulance.

When marshaling an Enduro race at Gisburn Forest, one of the competitors was air lifted out and I was shocked to learn that the air ambulance is funded by charity alone. It's a service I would have taken for granted prior to this, so I want to give something back and show my support for the work they do.

I first started mountain biking in May 2015 and had a couple of months off in Summer after I roly-poly'ed the Hope Line at Gisburn, so this will be quite a big achievement for me!
