Amanda fought hard in 2019 having numerous operations and chemo at Weston Park Hospital (WPH) to fight Breast Cancer. It returned in early 2020 and she continued to battle bravely having numerous and at times, gruelling treatments in an attempt to get better. 

Sadly she left us on 28 May 2020. Weston Park and it’s staff did their best right up until 2 weeks before she died, but she passed away peacefully at home with close family and friends around her. 

Truly she was taken. She fought so hard to stay. 

She wanted in any way to help WPH to continue to help others. She would say a huge thanks x

Remember Amanda as she laughed, she smiled, she had fun, she loved and was loved. She said recently that she’d had a fabulous life and made wonderful memories. I know we will Raise a glass from time to time to remember just how special she was to all of us 💕

We also promised her we would arrange a memorial as soon as we can all gather together so we will do that - even if it’s next year. 💕
