Story

Hi, I’m Fergus, thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have been to a few events by LimbPower and loved them! They allow my sister to come too, which helps us both feel that my condition (Fibular Hemimelia) and my limb difference/loss is more normal and I am not alone. This year I hope to go on a camp with my limb-powered buddies where we can try lots of new activities together and I need to raise funds for this and to help keep these opportunities available.

I want to do a special trek and hold 2 cake sales!

Pen y Fan is the highest peak in South Wales, situated in the Brecon Beacons National Park. It is 886 metres above sea-level, it is also the highest British peak south of Cadair Idris in Snowdonia (where I have loved seeing the fighter jets fly through when we have visited before) It is where my mummy’s cousin, who I am named after, used to train with the SAS and so it is important to me to climb it with her. I hope that my new blade can take the climb so wish me luck (or wish my mum luck, I would be quite a heavy Bergen!)

I’m hoping to climb on *Saturday the 18th Feb and the FeBREWary AmpuTEA cake sale will be on Sunday the 19th February on my street at 1pm then at Bishopston Methodist Church Bristol from 3:15pm

Please donate what you can for this great charity, I will be very happy if you do, every little helps! 😁

Donating through JustGiving is secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving and once you donate, they send your money directly to the charity.

THANK YOU 🙏🏼 🥰

*change of plan, Pen Y Fan postponed due to weather, will possibly be Easter break, or a good weekend in March, sorry.
