This summer I will be travelling to Uganda as part of the East African Playgrounds charity scheme to build playgrounds for school children.
Play is an essential part of childhood. Aside from the obvious joy a playground would bring to these children by allowing them to have fun, it also allows them the chance for more exercise and develops their social skills as they interact together in a productive way. Playgrounds were also the best part of school and these children deserve to have one of their own. 
The playgrounds we build will use locally sourced materials, so the community will also benefit from the trip. 
Whilst in Uganda we will also be trekking through the Ugandan rainforest to visit Silverback gorillas in the wild to support eco-tourism in that area. 

Any donations will be greatly appreciated and will go towards the improvement of the lives of children in Uganda and the protection of the rainforest by supporting eco-tourism. Thank you for the help!
