Story
I'm the project coordinator for City Hearts family bedsits here in South Yorkshire. We work with families who have been rescued from human trafficking, slavery and exploitation by not only creating a tailored support plan to their needs and the needs of their children, but showing them love, care and compassion, often, for the first time in a long time.
I get to see first hand the impact of generosity to our clients.
I see children trying on their brand new school uniforms, going on their first visit to the cinema and on day trips in the school holidays - It's donations that make these things possible.
I'm raising money for this wonderful charity because I care so deeply for the men, women and children that I work with, and I know just how much they deserve every penny we can give them.
In 2015 I raised £120 by doing Tough Mudder
In 2016 I raised £200 by doing a 10km
So lets make 2017 the most generous yet! With a combination of both years, an eaaaasy £320 as the target
