At KMCMS we support a charity local to us called Mind in Bexley, they are the leading mental health charity in Bexley and are affiliated to National Mind. They were established in 1986 by a group of people who wanted to greatly improve mental health care in Bexley, by challenging the traditional large institutional model that was dominant at the time. They have always tried to maintain this courageous and pioneering spirit at the heart of what they do.

We are therefore raising money for this charity by doing a 5K sponsored walk around the local area as a team. There is 11 of us on the team who are doing this walk to support Mind in Bexley as we all believe that #mentalhealthmatters.
