Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Cousins Amber and Rosie, who are both 13, have decided to have their hair cut for charity! They have chosen to donate their hair to the Little Princess Trust (www.littleprincesses.org.uk) a charity that provides wigs free of charge to children suffering with hair loss due to cancer treatments.

They have also decided the money raised through sponsorship will go to Pensions4Paws (www.pensions4paws.com) a charity close to their hearts. "When a Police or Fire Dog retires they receive no financial assistance, all the cost of care and ongoing treatment falls upon the new owner. Our mission is to support these courageous dogs who have worked long hours protecting both the public and their handlers." Ref. www.pensions4paws.com

As puppy walkers for Thames Valley and Hampshire Police, Amber and her family are very keen to help their old pups lead happy and healthy lives beyond working life and into old age. Rosie, being her cousin, has had many cuddles with the pups and love dogs so this is the perfect charity for them both to donate to.

The haircut is especially significant for Amber who has never had a "proper" haircut having only ever had a couple of centimetres trimmed off the ends.

They will be having the haircuts on the afternoon of Wednesday 29th August 2018.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
