Story

Hi and thanks for visiting my fundraising page. Not many weeks ago, I decided that in my 40th year it would be a good plan to set myself a personal challenge and after 1 too many glasses of wine, I signed myself up for the Sheffield half marathon! It's a pretty challenging route, with lots of up hill, but its equally scenic and close to home and I'm actually looking forward to it!

I am hoping to raise funds and awareness for The Eden Dora Trust, a charity aiming to provide support to children affected by Encephalitis and their families/carers. They aim to fund the training of adults working with children affected by Encephalitis and Acquired Brain Injury; to fund research in to Encephalitis in children and to raise awareness of this potentially debilitating and life-changing illness.

The Eden Dora Trust was set up in 2014 by my friend Petrina, whose daughter Eden has an Acquired Brain Injury following Encephalitis. Please visit www.edendoratrust.org to read Eden's story and learn more about the charity.

Many thanks for your support xx
