London Marathon 2019 · 28 April 2019 ·
A couple of weeks ago I got a phone call from Macmillan offering me a charity place for the London marathon. Was it post night shift delirium that made me say yes? Quite possibly.
But maybe this is my time..... I have always wanted to do a physical challenge in memory of my lovely Mum Leb who sadly passed away from bowel cancer in 1998 when she was only 45 years old. She was an incredible, loving person and the best mum. Macmillan were a huge support to her, my dad and my siblings at the time.
So in honour of her and to raise as much as I can for Macmillan (got to aim big!) I will be lugging my gammons around 26 miles of London Town.
Training ain’t pretty but it’s happening!
Any donation is greatly greatly appreciated!
