Story

My name is Amelia, I am 6 years old and I live in Edinburgh.

I saw some children on TV who had lost their hair because they weren’t well, which made me sad. I have very long hair, and I thought it would be nice to donate some to the Little Princess Trust, a charity which makes real hair wigs for children and young people who have lost their hair to cancer and other illnesses. I have grown my hair to my waist and will donate 45 cm of my hair which I hope will make a really nice wig for someone who needs it and to help them feel better.

Hopscotch provides respite breaks and holidays for disadvantaged children in Scotland. I am very lucky because I have lots of people who are able to take me on days out and my Mum and Dad take me on holidays where we have loads of fun together and make lots of fun memories.

Any sponsorship I manage to raise for cutting my hair I want to donate to Hopscotch because I think all children should get to go on holiday and have fun new adventures.

Thank you for visiting my Just Giving page and helping me do something great for other children!
