My name is Amelie, I'm six years old and I have Hemiplegia, which is a form of Cerebral Palsy.

Due to the damage of a small area of my brain, the right side of my body is much weaker than my left, and my muscles don't grow as well. I have to wear a splint to help keep my leg in the right position, and things like balancing, climbing and running are quite hard for me to do.

I wanted to take part in this race because there are thousands of other children who also have Hemiplegia, and I wanted to help them.  I am very excited about taking part in the race, and I would be very grateful if you could help me raise some money for HemiHelp.
