We provide free legal advice and support to disabled people

Story

Working for a city law firm, its sometimes easy to forget that the people who need access to legal advice the most are those that can't afford it.

Over 11 million people in the UK have a disability (almost 1 in 5 of the population). Many of those experience financial hardship which makes it difficult for them to obtain legal advice when they need it most, e.g. when faced with discrimination at work, problems obtaining proper care or difficulty obtaining the welfare benefits to which they are entitled.

The Disability Law Service is a fantastic charity that provides free legal advice and representation to some 4,000 people each year.

This year, I've decided to run the London marathon for this worthwhile cause, and would be incredibly thankful for your donations (big or small) to support DLS in the fantastic work they do.
