Story

Thanks for visiting my Just Giving Page.

On behalf of All Sport Insurance I have been invited by Rugby League Cares to join them on a 320-mile Charity Cycle Challenge from Headingly Stadium in Leeds to the Wembley for the 2017 Challenge Cup Final.

Leaving Leeds on Monday 21st August with a group that includes former Rugby League players Keith Senior, Chev Walker, Eorl Crabtree, Paul Highton and Wayne Godwin, we’ll head south via Rotherham, Nottingham, Loughborough, Leicester, Northampton, Milton Keynes, Luton and Hemel Hempstead, arriving at Wembley on Friday afternoon ahead of Saturday’s Challenge Cup Final.

It’s going to be tough, not least because much of the route
is off-road along canal paths and forest trails. Despite having run a couple of marathons, I have never been cyclist but I’m looking forward to the new challenge! With only 6 weeks to go I think it’s time to get some practice in on my bike!!

Rugby League Cares is a charity which does so much good within the sport, from helping youngsters at junior level to assisting players
when they fall on hard times or need help making the transition to life after rugby. At All Sport we are delighted to support players with their insurance requirements and look forward to supporting the team in this challenge.
