I think everyone who knows me, is aware of my inability to exercise (that includes walking up the stairs) ....THEREFORE... I thought It'd be a good idea to raise as much money as I can for my favourite charity, Alzheimers Society, whilst getting fit in the meantime! 

I will be taking part in a 10K run in Greater Manchester on Sunday 19th May. I am taking part to represent my lovely granddad, Eric. He has been a victim of dementia for 6 years, yet not a day goes by without a smile on his face. I want his smile to last as long as possible, which is why I will be raising as much money as I can for a world without dementia.

Around 225,000 people develop dementia every year – that's the equivalent to one person every three minutes. Every donation, no matter how big or small, adds up to go directly to the Alzheimer's Society, helping pay for support and treatments for those who live with dementia every day.
