After completing the Cardiff Half Marathon in 2010 (having a cry midway through and pretty much getting dragged over the finish line) I’d realised long distances just weren’t for me and I NEVER wanted to do a Half Marathon again. 

Fast forward to lockdown and signing up to the London Landmarks Half Marathon suddenly seemed like a good idea (and I can’t blame Carrie & Cal for this one!)

A bit about my charity choice. Visiting WARS when lockdown restrictions were eased to see all the animals in their care just desperate to find a forever home was heartbreaking. In the hope that Bella will encourage you to donate to WARS more than a sweaty selfie of me, you can see how well she is settling in. 

Any donation big or small will make a massive difference to this local charity:

• A donation of £5 will help to microchip one animal.
• A donation of £10 will provide shelter & care for a dog for one day.
• A donation of £15 will pay to feed a cat for one month.
• A donation of £25 will pay for a comfy bed for one of our dogs.
• A donation of £35 will pay to spay a cat to prevent more unwanted kittens.
