We provide autism services in N.E. Scotland to support individuals and families

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The Grampian Autistic Society offers a valuable and diverse service for children and young people who are on the Autistic Spectrum. The work they undertake is second to none and I would like to fundraise on thier behalf this year to show my appreciation for the support they have given to someone very special to me and to the families who access thier service.

My little brother was diagnosed with Autism when he was three years old. Now at the age of 12, there have been many changes he has had to cope with over the years, and as a family we have learned about Autism mostly from watching him grow and adapt to new social situations. Its true that no one person with Autism is the same! We wouldnt change a thing about Luke ❤. Change has been incredibly hard for Luke although the Grampian Autistic Society was a consistent part of his life until one year ago. The staff built a relationship with him and thier service not only provided him with varied social experiences but helped to promote his confidence and identity. We are incredibly grateful for thier support and i want to say a huge Thank You as thier work makes a big difference 👌
