Hi friends, family. Thanks for taking the time to read this page I have set up. I found it hard to choose just one charity that I wanted to nominate to raise money for instead of birthday gifts for my big 4-0 this year. There are hundreds out there doing amazing work every day.
The last 18 months have seen our worlds turned upside down with the Covid-19 pandemic. Remember during lockdowns how we all were stuck at home and how hard it was?
Well......yes it was hard, but actually we were lucky to be able to stay safely at home weren’t we? For many people sadly, they did not have a home to “stay at home” in and during the lockdowns I couldn’t stop thinking about them and wondering how they would get through this awful time. And now, as we are emerging from hopefully the worst of the pandemic and starting to feel more positive, those experiencing homelessness are still out there, on the streets, their lives harder than we can even begin to imagine.......
Like most charities, support and resources for homeless charities has dwindled because of the pandemic and they need our support more than ever now to continue helping people. Caring in Bristol are out there, working hard, doing what they can to try and make a difference and reduce homelessness in Bristol. So I’d love it if you’d please consider contributing to this worthy cause along with me for my 40th this year. You can read more about Caring in Bristol in the information below.
If you can afford to give a little something, it would truly fill me with birthday cheer.
Thank you, love Amy x
CARING IN BRISTOL:
We are Caring in Bristol. We find gaps in Bristol's provision for those experiencing homelessness and work together with our community to create innovative projects to fill them. From prevention to emergency support, our projects range from producing free citywide resources that empower our city to act, to investing in youth support, helping influence change from the very start. Caring in Bristol has grown from the ground up with the support of thousands of caring individuals and supporters and your generous donations of money and time.
