We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

Story

Sian and Laura have kindly volunteered to do a skydive in memory of my late fiancé Richard Brocklehurst (broccolipops)

Richard was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2009 where he underwent many different chemotherapy treatments and two stem cell transplant. Sadly after a long brave and courageous fight, Richard lost his battle on the 8th August 2013 at the age of 29.

Richard was a well known man and was adored by so many, you'll never meet another man like him. Richards life was cut short where he didn't get to follow his dreams and live his life, so as a promise to him, I have carried on, am living life for him and trying to keep his spirit alive by fundraising in memory of him.
No matter how poorly Richard was he was always trying to help other people, and never let his illness get the better of him. He always smiled and laughed even up the his very last words, which were "I will be fine".

Bloodwise (leukaemia and lymphoma association) was a charity close to Richards heart which we agreed we would raise money together when he got better, now I am doing it for him.

Please support Laura and Sian to help them raise there minimum target so that they can jump out of the plane .

Richard was a big fan of his planes and I know he would have loved to have been here for this event.
This money will go and help Bloodwise find a cure and hopefully stop anyone else suffering the way that Richard did. Richard and I would not want any one to go through what he did and would want to help those who are currently fighting, giving them a better chance of survival for today :)
Richard was a helper and would always help anyone in need, no matter how big or small Richard was always to the rescue.

Everyone needs to be aware of lymphoma. I hadn't heard of it and now I certainly know every in and out of one type. But there are over 60 others! Blood cancers are 3rd biggest cancer killer and the 5th most common! More than breast or prostate! September is awareness month too!
