At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

I am taking part in a memory walk because I would like to raise money for the  Alzheimer's Society as my grandad sadly passed away this year 23rd June 2014 having the illness of Alzheimer's and Dementia and although he was lucky enough to have his family around him to care for him, there are some unfortunate people suffering from Alzheimer's and Dementia that do not have the support and care that they need.So therefore I believe that even if I raise a small amount of money  it can  help those that do not have the help and care they need.
