Event: The Enormous Elephant Run – London, on 6 June 2015
We work on Kenya's front line to protect threatened wildlife and habitats

Story

Ok -  firstly I think that everyone needs to get involved with this- its a run around Clapham Common in an Elephant Onesie - who can say no to that?

More importantly, the money I raise will be going directly to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Fund,  a charity which devotes time, money and effort to stop the horrific and ever present poaching of elephants and rhinos in East Africa.

As it stands, unfortunately it is very likely that in 10 years there will be no more elephants and rhinos - in fact black rhinos were declared extinct in west Africa just a month ago! It's not a problem that is going to go away by itself - we have to help ban ivory and save the elephants!

Only animals need tusks guys!

About the charity

Our Teams work to protect Kenya's wildlife and habitats through Anti-Poaching operations, Community Outreach, Mobile Veterinary support and the rescue and rehabilitation of elephant and rhino orphans so that they can return to the wild when grown. With your help, we can save more wild lives.
