We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

Story

Sam and I will be walking 71.25km along the Affric Kintail Way in Scotland in May.  This runs from Drumnadrochit on the shores of Loch Ness, to Morvich in Kintail, near the west Highlands seaboard.  This will (hopefully) take four days, we'll be doing a spot of wild camping along the way.

So far the furthest I have ever walked in a day is 14 miles, and I haven't been up to much the following week, so it's quite a challenge!

We are raising money for Bloodwise, the UK's biggest blood cancer charity.  It seemed an appropriate charity to choose, as we will be half way through the trail on my sister Emily's anniversary.

Bloodwise was formally known as Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.
