Anadarko's Hadrian’s Walk Challenge Team will be setting off in June to hike a 40 mile section of Hadrian’s Walk over two days. Infamy, infamy, all 9 do-gooders will have it in for thee. We are doing this for fun (?) and of course, we will be hoping to raise lots of money for CARE International.

Our plan is to walk east from Lugavalium (aka Carlisle) trying to work out, apart from the sanitation, the medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, the fresh-water system, and public health, what the Romans ever did for us. Meanwhile Jupiter, the Roman god of storms, better be busy somewhere else.

Some wall factoids: it's about 1890 years old, was never the boundary between England and Scotland and is now a World Heritage Site. 

Some Anadarko annual (mostly) challenge factoids: this is the glorious thirteenth challenge; we've had more than seventy-five colleagues as active participants over the years; who have taken supporting donations from hundreds of other colleagues and friends over a decade and a half; and we're very proud to have raised in excess of £180,000; so far.
