Almost everyone reading this page, I imagine, will have clicked here via from Claudia's Cause, our daughters page which follows her real life. Her life.

In July 2012, we learnt that Claudia was to die, We learnt that she had received the maximum amount of treatment and that unfortunately, it hadn't worked. Claudia was to die.

We had a dream trip booked, it was all arranged. It was a once in a lifetime chance to visit Disneyland in Florida all courtesy of Make A Wish, however, due to Claudia's prognosis, we were not allowed to make that trip.

Instead of giving up on us, Make A Wish changed all travel plans with very little notice and instead, they booked us an amazing holiday, which we genuinely believed would be Claudia's last ever holiday, sailing through the rivers of Norfolk.....a private cruiser on the Norfolk Broads. This had been Claudia's second wish.

No words can ever really describe just how much this meant to our family, the experience, those moments, which will last a lifetime.

Claudia had the most amazing time, as did her siblings and yes, us, her parents too. We have the most precious memories, incredible photographs and wonderful moments forever with us now......and all of it thanks to this amazing charity.

We had planned an event for October, to try and raise vital funds so that this charity could help other families, however, due to circumstances, beyond our control, we had to cancel. Either way, we'd still to raise the money and we'd love to say thank you to Make A Wish and more importantly, help others.
