Every two hours, someone in the UK will become paralysed. Globally, it is estimated that 15.4 million people are living with paralysis. At Spinal Research our vision is to create a world where paralysis can be cured, no matter when the injury occurred or where in the world.

Story

So despite saying that I would never run a half-marathon again after (somehow) managing to finish the Wilmslow Half-Marathon last year, here I am again! While I suspect that this has something to do with my brain blocking out just how stiff I was for the week(s) that followed, it's mainly because Spinal Research deserve all of the pounds and pennies I hope to raise.

Spinal Research are pioneers in researching cures for spinal cord injuries, seeking to reverse paralysis in human beings. They are an absolutely amazing charity, so please give as much or as little as you can spare; every penny you donate could help change someone's life.

(Also please bear in mind that with me being short, it takes a lot more effort for me to cover this distance than a normal-sized person)
