Huntington's Disease Association England and Wales exists to support anyone who is affected by Huntington's disease. It pursues the best possible care; provides training and advice to families and professionals; raises awareness, and promotes research towards better treatment and care.

Story

On Sunday I will be attempting to win (or at least finish) the Bristol Half Marathon, to raise money for the hugely valuable work of the Huntington's Disease Association.

This represents a glorious return to fitness from injury only 4 weeks ago which forced my withdrawal from the Great North Run, much to Mo Farah and Haile Gebreselase's relief.

Having first done a half marathon in 1999, I am hoping to beat my previous times, mainly by not going a gig the night before till 1am.Your donations to the HDA will be very much appreciated. The charity helps families and indiduals affected by a terrifying degenerative disease. They support vital care and life changing research. Trust me, by donating to the HDA you will be doing a good thing. Thank you very much.
