We help move glioblastoma from terminal to treatable, powered by patients.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On June 12th I will set off from Land’s End on a 1,000 mile cycle to John O'Groats. Records will NOT be broken although my creaking frame (body not bike) just might. I'll be riding in memory of my amazing sister Debbie who we lost to a glioblastoma brain tumour almost four years ago. Deb's passing led to me becoming a proud trustee of Our Brain Bank UK ... a charity set up by the inspiring Jessica Morris who herself died last year after a five year fight against GBM.  OBB is focused on moving GBM from terminal to treatable in ways that are powered by patients. In the UK we are determined to support those who are diagnosed with this appalling, aggressive cancer with better, clearer information and support for both them and their families. Every penny I raise will be spent  on these efforts. If you feel you can support with a donation I'd be ever grateful and I know that Deb would want to say thanks too.

Andy.
