As you will all know, my beautiful wife Vanya died at St Barnabas House Hospice in Worthing on 16 August 2013. She was incredibly calm and brave until the very end and part of the reason she was able to keep this up was through the fantastic care she received at St Barnabas House. They stabilised her condition and greatly improved her quality of life, meaning that she could return home. She spent the last week and a half of her life at our home, surrounded by all her family and friends and was as happy as she could possibly have been, thanks to St Barnabas House.
