Just over 10 years ago, I lost a close friend who was everything life should be: caring, funny, energetic and good-looking! We became very good friends very quickly, and his death - at age 19, weeks before our expected 20th birthdays - completely devastated me. When Jamie died, it was incredible how many people shared my deep sense of loss - and many of them have raised SO much money for his RAF charity for years and I haven't properly done my part. 

So...I deserve a bit of a beating for being so lazy...and Cancer Research deserves to profit for being such a UK powerhouse in Fundamental Cancer research: this event delivers both!

Please give generously to those working tirelessly to prevent and cure the world's most indiscriminate killer. And help me keep the memory of such a life-changing friend alive who lost his fight with this ferocious illness and its allies!
