This year as part of a group, I am cycling from Hermitage to Paris (300+ miles over 4 days) for Basics Hampshire. The trip is unlike anything I have ever done before and I'm a bit nervous and want to try and raise as much money as I can for the great charity BASICS. The story behind why we are riding for BASICS is below, please take a moment, read the info and dig deep for this great cause! Thank you very much.

Chris West was just 16 when he was in a nearly fatal car crash.  The fire service, land and air ambulances were the first responders. Chris reckons the vital lifesaving difference was a BASICS doctor who attended the the crash and was able to operate on scene to ensure he survived to hospital.

We're riding for him and the great work and care provided by BASICS Hampshire!

All the money raised goes directly to BASICS, we have individually covered the cost of the trip to enable this to happen, so every penny raise will help them provide a life saving service.
