Andrews Marathon Fundraising Page- running on behalf of Georgia Freeman.

London Marathon 2023 · 23 April 2023 ·
This year I’m running the London Marathon on 23rd April in recognition of our good friend Georgia Freeman who is 27 years old and is suffering from M.E (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis) as a result from Covid which also caused several other chronic conditions that she is now living with.
M.E is a life long condition with no cure, affecting people very differently in varying degrees. It can cause a huge multitude of debilitating symptoms such as fatigue, muscle pain and weakness, cognitive dysfunction, disturbed sleep, and many more. All the money raised will go directly towards the research into trying to find treatments for this incurable illness.
Georgia led a very active, sociable life style, prior to having Covid in 2020. Since then she has been diagnosed with multiple conditions and has had to stop work and adjust to a complete change in lifestyle. After 2 and a half years she is still battling to manage her symptoms on a daily basis with no certainty of recovery
Georgia has had no choice but to adjust .This illness has completely changed her life and I would ask for you to donate to this great cause. Every pound helps this charity and each person suffering from this debilitating condition.
