I have decided to attempt the Black Dragon Challenge (https://www.ldwa.org.uk/challenge_events/show_event.php?event_id=20740 ) to raise money for the National Gulf Veterans and Families Association.They are the only charity in the UK that specifically help service men and women suffering both physical and mental illness following deployment in either Iraq or Afghanistan.

After becoming ill on my second and third tours of Iraq, my list of health issues has grown in numbers over the last 13 years, from chronic headaches and migraines, pain from head to toe, insomnia, dizziness, nausea, now Fybromyalgia, all of which led to serious bouts of depression. I now also have bulging discs in 5 vertebrae, 3 in my neck and 2 in my lower back, needless to say, training for this is extremely hard but I am determined to try and succeed for such a good cause.
