Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund is the only national charity dedicated solely to beating pancreatic cancer through research. Survival rates are low, so new research is vital. In the past, this cancer received little attention. With your help, we can change this so more people beat pancreatic cancer.

Story

Born Survivor is a 10km run with 30 obstacles designed by the Royal Marines. This year it is being held at Capesthorne Hall Cheshire.

Since the 2nd WW Roy Wain (my grandad) has farmed at Home Farm on the estate, which the course is going through. At the age of 94 Roy has been diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer.  The staff at R. Wain and Son's along with Friends and Family have decided to tackle this endurance test to help raise money for help looking in to pancreatic cancer.. Maybe finding a cure?

We are hoping Grandad will be out of his chair for the event so he can cheer us on.
