Durrell's mission is to save species from extinction by protecting the wild places and wildlife that make up our beautiful world. With your help we can create a wilder, healthier, more colourful world for us all to enjoy.

Story

Having completed personal challenge number 1 earlier this year and shedding 3 stones of weight in aid of an Indian orphanage, i was looking for my next. Having camped at Durrell's, I was amazed at the work they do and therefore decided to do a little bit to support them in their global activities. Animal conservation is close to my heart, we all take so much away from them and having taken too many species to the brink of extinction, if me running 10km can keep a single baby orangutan with it's mother for 1 extra day, it is worth the effort...
