Dryathon · 1 January 2019

North London Samaritans provides emotional support 24 hours a day to people experiencing anxiety, distress, or suicidal feelings across the three large north London boroughs of Enfield Haringey and Barnet. As a branch it is entirely self-funding, receiving no money from the central organisation.

Story

So it's that time of year again where I'm going to do the whole drink and meat free thing.

I know lots of people will do dry January but here's where I think mine is better:

1. I'm not just doing alcohol free but also meat free.

2.  I'm not doing just one month but three.  Last year I did two months and it was tough, three is going to be a very big challenge.

3.  All funds go to North London Samaritans, a small charity run completely by volunteers and offering round the clock support.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
