We exist to give a lifetime of support to the wider Army family, regardless of where or when a soldier served. We act swiftly and efficiently in providing support in the form of grants to those who find themselves in real need. We also provide grants to charities who support the wider Army family.

Story

I'm raising money for ABF The Soldiers' Charity who provide vital support to soldiers, veterans and their families in times of need. For Soldiers. For Life.

In 1982  served, with 11 Fd Sqn RE, as part of the Task Force that recaptured the Falklands.

I was privileged  to return 30 years later with my wife and son. I was acutely aware how much of an impression the conflict had made on me and reminded of those who lost their lives at the time or were suffering even long afterwards.

To combine my love of running, interest in the Falklands and wish to raise funds to support veterans I ran the Stanley Marathon in 2015 and raised nearly £3,000 in donations. I took 54 seconds over 4 hours for the 26.2 miles.

I have the chance to return in March 2019 and hope to "be under 4 at over 60" and raise funds for ABF who help veterans of many conflicts who are not as fortunate as me.

Please donate to this very worthwhile charity.
