I'm doing the Fred Whitton on the 11th May 2014. 110 miles with 11,000 feet climbing. 

Donations will be made to MacMillan in memory of my granddad who passed away in 2012.

It was an amazing day, got fairly lucky with the weather and the event was impressively run to accommodate the 2000 people daft enough to cycle 110 miles around the Lake District. Finished in 10 hours 17 mins, but the sense of achievement was the most significant. Thanks to everyone who turned out to support at the side of the road in the wet weather to cheer people on.
