Our story

As most will be aware, Amelia-Rose was born on 6th May 2021 in Wrexham Maelor Hospital. After 12 hours, doctors noticed that her observations weren't normal. Despite treatment efforts at Wrexham, Amelia-Rose was transferred to Arrowe Park requiring Intensive Care by way of Intubation, sedation and antibiotics. Amelia-Rose was treated for Sepsis, Neonatal respiratory failure, Neonatal hypocalcaemia, Hypokalaemia, Jaundice & Hypertension. After day 6, Amelia was extubated and shown the fantastic team that she required no further ventilation assistance. Amelia continued her antibiotics and gradually built up her feeds, and by age 12 days, Amelia was given her eviction notice and sent back to North Wales, to be home with her Mummy and Daddy.

This is a thank you for saving our daughters life, we will forever be in your debt - I hope we can fundraise as much as we can to help you continue to do the work you do, with the vital equipment you require to work the miracles you do!

Thank you so much from Amelia-Rose's Mummy & Daddy - Emma & Andy x
