Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit the North West Ambulance Service (Manchester West) JustGiving page.

This year we will be cycling the 65 miles from Manchester to Blackpool for the Wigan & Leigh Hospice. The small group (picture above) set out on last years event lead by John Gormley.(far left) Little did we know that John would be diagnosed with terminal cancer just weeks after completing the ride. John spent some time in the hospice this year and we are all aware of the fabulous job they do and we realise that this charity cannot continue to provide amazing care without funding.

John lost his battle this year but we hope to make him proud but also to try and give something back for the care and compassion they showed John. Thanks again.
