The Charlie Gard Foundation is one of the UK’s leading charities dedicated to fighting mitochondrial disease. The foundation raises awareness for the condition, invests in world-class research into viable treatments, and supports families whose lives have been touched by this incurable disease.

Story

🐒 Guys! On September 30th at 11:00am my son Nicolas with a group of his friends want to fundraise in loving memory of his beloved cousin Charlie and for other babies and children diagnosed with Mitochondrial Disease. Nicolas is aged 3, Nicolas only knows Charlie watches us all from the sky as I have explained to him and so he wants to do something that makes Charlie proud of him. There will be other children his age and hopefully some older children too who will take part in a sponsored run/walk of 2 miles at Murray Park, Whitton, Middlesex. Funds raised will go to my very much missed nephew ‘Charlie’s charity’ (The Charlie Gard Foundation) which has now launched and needs your support! Charlie’s Foundation is investing in pioneering research for life limiting mitochondrial diseases and also supports families from the diagnoses of this awful condition to make the very best memories for all concerned. The Charlie Gard Foundation will be life changing and even life saving for babies and children with your continued support.

Please don’t feel as if a small donation isn’t worth doing because it really adds up! I have sponsor forms too so if you’d rather sponsor us in person rather than online then please do get in touch! You can also text CMWG91 followed by the amount you wish to donate to 70070 which will also be an instant donation!

Thanks everybody!
