They always say behind every great man is an even greater woman. Well this journey is to celebrate Mrs Wade and the achievements she and Mr Wade made throughout their life.

Back in 1976 Mr Wade founded Miles Kingsport Ltd and through the determination of the family and a great network of dedicated staff over the years the business has succeeded to becoming the National Dealer of the Year for Honda.

We thought it would be nice to visit the regular courting areas of Mr and Mrs Wade as they spent many happy hours on two wheels touring Yorkshire. Latterly they revisted these places in four wheels and had a massive fondness of the area.

So...on June 26th we will be on. Now, it would be easy to jump on some large capacity machines but where;s the fun in that!!

Four Honda Monkey's and a Miles Kingsport supplied Honda C90 will travel from Miles Kingsport up to Helmsley, across to Thirsk, up long pull past the White Horse to Sutton Bank then dropping down to Thirsk. From there we head up to Northallerton and with the lunchtime destination of The Tan Hill Inn, the highest pub in England. Down Buttertubs pass and into Hawes. Fuel stop for the riders and bikes then heading towards Kettlewell. This was a regular destination for the family as Tim competed in trials in this area. Heading across to Ripon and across country to Tholthorpe and Tollerton, where the family originated from and where they ran a very successful and well respected timber business.

All in a day. Piloting the machines are Andy on the C90, Steve, Lee, Tim and Shane from Honda UK on Monkey's.
