Hi everyone!

I'll be running the Belfast City Marathon this year in aid of Assisi Animal Sanctuary. I've never ran a marathon before and this will take a lot of training and preparation to get me across the finish line so I'll be very grateful to anyone who can offer any support, in whichever form that may take!

Those of you who know me will know I adopted one of my cats, Bella, from Assisi a number of years ago and she quickly became one of the most important members of the family - probably the most but I can't tell the others that! She always knows when someone is upset or needs a bit of loving - she loves a cuddle and will always be there when you need her!

Assisi do great work and I'd like to try and use my efforts to raise some much-needed and deserved funds to aid them in taking care of the animals they shelter there. Please see below for information Assisi provided themselves:-

Our mission is to keep as many animals in their homes as possible by providing support and advice to owners;To rescue and rehome needy animals by providing modern facilities with well trained staff and volunteers;To provide animal welfare education and leadership to all touchpoints within Northern Ireland.Ultimately, our aim is to find each and every animal that comes into our care, the loving forever home they deserve and that is right for them.

I understand money is tight in the current climate but anything you do give would be greatly appreciated and would be going to a fantastic cause!
