Alice’s Escapes is a charity committed to providing free holidays for families with a seriously ill child.

Alice Pyne fought a battle with Hodgkin's Lymphoma for over 5 years - a battle which she finally lost earlier this year at the age of 17.

I first heard about Alice when her 'Bucket List blog' went viral on Facebook.  You can read it here:

I was impressed with Alice's determination and strength of character in inspiring so many people to join bone marrow registers around the world, and in starting Alice's Escapes.

I have been growing my hair for over 3 years, but my forehead grows larger every day, so it is time for a change.

Not only am I hoping to raise money for Alice's Escapes by shaving it off, I will also donate my hair to the Little Princess Trust, who receive free wigs for children in return for the hair donations they receive.  You can read more about them here:
